Nonprofit Incubator

Updated: Sep 30

The Northeast OKC Nonprofit Incubator (“Incubator”) was created by The Butlers Did It in 2023 to increase the capacity of Black-led organizations and those working in Northeast Oklahoma City.

The Incubator includes a 13-week training program that is part of a larger effort to create sustainable and inclusive economic development in Oklahoma City’s Northeast sector. The training program covers nonprofit fundamentals, memberships with key Oklahoma City organizations, strategic planning and accounting services, and participants receive ongoing support following the training sessions.

The Incubator focuses in the critical areas of nonprofit management, governance, and fundraising to Black-led nonprofits or those focused on improving opportunities and services for residents of Northeast Oklahoma City. With guidance in strategic planning, mentoring, and connections to Oklahoma City’s philanthropic leadership, these nonprofits will be on a path to sustainability and growth, which will benefit their constituencies for decades to come.

We are ecstatic to be able to incorporate the Incubator into NEOKCR’s ecosystem. Fostering connections to resources and education impacts our community for the better. To follow along with The Butlers Did It click here.
